Additional Steps

Deer are frequent visitors to the gardens.

Poplar trees, planted in the 50s, follow the edge created by an old slough that once meandered through this corner of the property.

A rockery retaining wall was built to further define the area.  Metal lanterns mark the access to the lower lawn.

This building was moved from the Plant Pit.

Kids have fun staging puppet shows.

From this end of the lower lawn, Rod's neice (12 years old at the time) shot a hole-in-one to the putting green.
